New York, New York, USAHere are just a few exciting images from our current exhibition "Corporeal" Exchanges by Gerard PaS and Huang Chih-Yang.
The exhibition , "Corporeal (Exchanges)," features three installations: 1) a collaborative work titled "The Forest," composed of sculpturally altered wooden crutches taking root to a ground of projected images of living bacteria (as can be seen below); 2) Chih-Yang's "I'm a cute Germ," video projections of micro-organisms; 3) Gerard Pas' three dimensional "Portrait of Chuck Close," utilizing a wheelchair given Pas by Close for this project.
These installations provoke the investigation into the vulnerability of the human body and the resiliency of the human spirit by visibly embracing the most paginate reminders of the human condition - ambulatory aids and disease.
