Jazz Tribe exemplifies the collaborative aspect of Crosspathculture studios. Each musician featured in Jazz Tribe brings his own cultural influence to the collective. It refers to Jazz as a representation of musical freedom and its ability to transcend regionalism through improvisation.

Namgyal is a composition collaboration between D. Namgyal Khorko, Tibetan instrumentalist on Phillip Glass' soundtrack to the film Kundun; and Ben Butler, producer and director of CPC studios. The inspiration for the piece came from the artists interpretation of Namgyal's experience of leaving Tibet and relocating to New York. It features Zeb Schorr, from the southeast region of Alaska, on double bass. Namgyal begins with DAT recordings by Ben Butler in the subway systems and on the streets of NYC. Over this framework, Namgyal recorded traditional Dzogchen (Long Horn) pieces, confirming the collective atmosphere of the musical vision. This introductory section flows into a structured tribal melange, heavily syncopated with djembe drumming, flowing cello lines, and the universal sound of the Dzogchen. It also features a remix by Stiles 3000.
