Ken Feinstein | Tommy Figura | Travis Hammond
Travis Hammond is a 23 year old artist from Annapolis, Maryland. He
attended the Key School in Annapolis. where he got his first fine arts
training, working primarily in painting and scultpture. From an early age,
however, he had a keen interest in computers, which led him to pursue
various types of computer art. He began with a form of computer art known
as ASCII, where the artistās palette consists entirely of the keys on the
keyboard, represented either as white characters against a black screen or
vice-versa. He also began composing more complicated VGA works, and was
invited to join ACID, a highly respected computer art organization
(www.acid.org), of which he is still a member and regular contributor. He
is also beginning to concentrate much of his time on photography, both 35mm
and polaroid, while studying graphic and industrial design at Towson
University in Towson, Maryland.
